I’m not sure how this one never made it to this blog. Regardless, the flurry of UMMB*-related activity in the fall of 2010 inspired these guys to show their support and bring out the old PhiBD letters, Atlanta Braves hat, and hog band. It is unknown at the moment whether or not they ever actually marched. (Milford, Massachusetts, November 2010.)
*UMMB stands for University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band (UMass Minuteman Marching Band).

These guys are rarely idle—when not on some excursion or enjoying outdoor fun, they’re often seen engaging in domestic creativity. Matthew and Patty thought that a fresh batch of cookies would be a fine pick-me-up on this cold and rainy day. (Milford, Massachusetts, April 2012.)

I will be unable to finish the picture I wanted to post until after spring break ends because I cannot get to a computer with PhotoShop until school resumes. In the meantime, to tide you over, here is Gingy actually wearing the shirt he showed off earlier. (Tucson, Arizona, March 2012.)

Waiting for Spring Break.
Life has been in an uproar for a while and I have not been able to look for or create new toy pictures. I have one in the works and hope to turn my attention to it within the next couple of days, or during Spring Break if the school library is open (so I can use PhotoShop). Thanks for standing by!

Though they look so cute and childlike, they too grew into adults with adult tastes and interests. Some days, there’s nothing like hanging out over a good red wine with a platter of fruit and cheese. (Milford, Massachusetts, November? 2011.)

One day, Gingy came home carrying a new shirt that he showed off. He wanted to have his photo taken while displaying it and I don’t know if he was proving his newfound testimony, had been given the shirt as a gag gift, or had some other purpose behind this photo. I simply obliged and tacitly appreciated thinking that someone out there in the Universe might be keeping an eye on me. (Tucson, Arizona, January 2012.)

After the lighting of the candles. They thought better of the fire risk and decided to perform the ritual in the kitchen, where the kitchen sink’s retractable sprayer could be employed in an emergency. All went swimmingly, fortunately, save for a couple of overcooked latkes. (Milford, Massachusetts, December 2011.)

Another ill-timed photo, as it’s been nearly a month since the end of Hanukkah. Nevertheless, here the family gathers ‘round to light the menorah and enjoy the second night of celebrating the miracle of the oil. (Milford, Massachusetts, December 2011.)

It’s weeks overdue, but I don’t care, it’s a cute picture and I see no sense in hiding it until next Christmas. Recall that at the end of the first Shrek movie, Gingy quoted Tiny Tim from A Christmas Carol by saying, “God bless everyone!” (Tucson, Arizona, January 2012.)

Matthew’s weight loss and lifestyle change caught the attention of an indie ’zine publisher, who made him the cover model for this issue. (Milford, Massachusetts, 2006? 2007?)
